Nana Mainoo, holding a Doctor of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University and a wealth of executive education from prestigious institutions like INSEAD and Cornell University, is a visionary leader in the healthcare industry. With over 15 years of experience spanning the pharma sector to health tech innovation, Dr. Mainoo has carved a niche for himself as a pioneer in healthcare solutions and pharmaceutical excellence.

Beginning his illustrious career with Pfizer in Kumasi, Ghana, Nana demonstrated exceptional prowess in managing the neuropathic pain and cardiovascular portfolio, significantly boosting product leadership in therapeutic areas. His efforts led to the successful launch of Lyrica (Pregabalin), firmly establishing it in hospital drug lists and treatment guidelines across the northern sector of Ghana.

Nana's entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he founded Mainoo Chemists in Kumasi, Ghana, in June 2010. Under his leadership as Founder and CEO, the company introduced groundbreaking medical devices and health supplements to the Ghanaian market, including the B-cure laser for pain management, which quickly became a top choice in the industry. His knack for international collaboration was evident in establishing six trading partnerships and launching innovative personal testing kits, thereby significantly contributing to healthcare accessibility and advancement in Ghana.

Expanding his entrepreneurial ventures, Nana co-founded Medsndr, a digital health initiative, in January 2014. As a testament to his innovation and leadership, he spearheaded the development of a mobile app that bridged gaps in the access to safe and effective medicines in Africa.

Dr. Mainoo's academic background is equally impressive, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University, Masters in Market Research and consumer behavior from IE Business School,  and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
